Here I am again after only one week… pretty good if I do say so myself! I really don’t have much to write about, again, but I thought I might give an update on some of last week’s thoughts.
1. SSA – I have yet to figure it out; and it continues to loom over my head.
2. My dreaded Old Testament Survey final went well last Friday evening! I wrote for three hours straight and didn’t forget a single name. Although, I did forget the date of the second return to Jerusalem during the temple period under Ezra and completely forgot to mention quite possibly the most central verses from which the entire OT should be read… Leviticus 26 and Deuteronomy 27-28… the blessings and curses. Completely forgot! Oh well. Even if she doesn’t give me an “A”, I couldn’t have written any more than I did.
3. Now there are less than 3 weeks to go until the end!!
4. I just finished an outline for my paper defending compatabilism. Can I write ten pages tomorrow? We’ll see!
5. Great news on my knee!!! I do not need surgery!!!! In fact, the meniscus is not even torn!!! What is wrong, however, is that there are a couple fractures in my tibia right below the knee and there is a lot of fluid in the marrow that should be draining a bit more quickly than it is. BUT… they should both heal on their own! Praise Jesus!
6. Demonstrations are still happening in Kyrgyzstan. Today the opposition party asked not only for the president to step down, for early elections, and for a new constitution, but to dissolve the entire Parliament!!! Do they really think they will end all corruption by putting new people in old positions?
That’s all for now. I have my last Greek quiz for the year tomorrow on the imperative! Whoohoo!
Hang in there Haley, we are praying for you!
