To the right of the river in the picture below is where I ate Bavarian "Thumper". He tastes the same over there as he does here, FYI. :-)

These are a couple picturesque spots in the city... the first looking down at the lower part of the castle from the highest point, and the second looking up at the tower from the city street below.

I can't believe someone else has been here! Praise God!
Wow- I got a "shout out" on your blog (albeit not by NAME!) And I recognized my back in one of the pictures - I know your theory - never photograph a human when you can capture a scenery shot :) So who did you meet that's been to Cesky Krumlov?! I agree with you that it was the cutest little town ever. I blew up one of my Cesky Krumlov pix and hung it in my dining room. Anyway, it was fun to remember going over the dam(s)! What a day....
ReplyDeletehey, hey, i was there, too!! i just got done emailing Steph to go visit there tomorrow. she's in Prague and en route to some "fairy tale village" that she didn't even know the name of because she's letting the boys do all the planning. Anyway, it WAS fabulous, wasn't it? you should rent "The Prestige" and look for the sights in that movie, too. so who is this world traveler from seminary who has followed in our very footsteps? a Christian man who travels?? set me up!
