Last night and tonight are very different nights.
Last night was characterized by quiet reflections in a small, candlelit chapel nearly six hundred years old, with professors and peers singing carols together in celebration of the coming birth of the king. It was a calm, still, and peaceful night.
Tonight is characterized by a severe weather warning alerting people to wind gusts between 70 and 80 mph, causing damage and power outages across the country. It’s cold, rainy, noisy and anything but peaceful. In fact, it’s probably the closest thing to a tropical storm I’ve ever been in. Good times.
