Independence Day in Boston!

Fourth of July weekend here in Boston! It was a great day, commenced by a reading of the Declaration of Independence from the Old State House where it was originally read in 1776.

Next came a meeting filled with shouts of "hazzah" and "fie" over what to do about the King's imposed tax on our tea. It was held in the Old South Church, the same exact building where the original debate took place. I was a tavern owner and a loyalist to the King!

The main event of the day was listening to the infamous Boston Pops at the Hatch. Best of all, they were opened by Rascal Flatts! So great!

Here's the group!
The concert ended with 500,000 people singing Yankee Doodle, America the Beautiful, This Land Was Made for Me and You, and other patriotic songs, the Pops playing Stars and Stripes, and more confetti than I have ever seen in my life!

Overall, it was a very memorable 4th of July and I highly recommend everyone coming out to Boston for at least one of them!
