Cascade Canyon
Teton National Park is nothing short of incredible, awe-inspiring, and majestic! What a wonderful hike we had yesterday! Forty five of the ACMNP staff living in the park drove down to the Tetons for a hike of Cascade Canyon, named so for the numerous cascading waterfalls. The canyon existed directly within the Tetons, making for amazing views and towering cliffs on both sides of the trail. By far and away, it was definitely one of the more beautiful hikes I have ever done here in the States. Jagged peaks, cascading waterfalls, abundant wildlife, and a beautiful Jenny Lake... it truly was amazing. The only downside was that it seemed like everyone knew about it and was trying to make the first hike, at least the first half of the hike. Altogether, I did probably about ten miles, which in the end was just short of my goal. Due to time constraints with such a big group, I didn't quite make it; but the other great things made up for it! I saw a mother and baby moose, two marmots, several elk, several deer, a few bison, and a few pronghorns!
And now it is back to work...

I can't really tell if this is the mother or baby moose, but I think it's the baby.
This was the sunset over Yellowstone Lake on our way back last night. I absolutely love living on Yellowstone Lake!
